When someone passes away in the Yorùbá community, various rituals and ceremonies are performed to honor the deceased and ensure a smooth transition to the afterlife. With the spiritual head and Chief being an initiated Eegungun priestess, how we deal with death and the afterlife is an important part of the practice.
